Good but not great
It’s good but not great. The original Doxy is better - as the vibrations are better suited to the female body and responses, and it is solid but not as unwieldy as the new one is. The head is better on the new one however and the build quality is better - and it looks stunning so not at all unhappy but would have preferred a new version of the original.

Hi Carolyn, Thanks for the thoughtful review, especially as someone who knows the original Doxy well. 2.0 was never intended to simply recreate the old model. We kept what we loved about it, but changed a lot of the engineering, vibration characteristics changed a little, head and overall construction based on years of feedback from the original. That inevitably means some long-time owners will still prefer the feel of the previous generation, and that’s completely fair. Takes a few sessions to adapt. Like going from PC to Mac LOL I’m really pleased you’ve noticed the improvements to the head, build quality and finish though. Feedback like this is genuinely useful because it reminds us that “newer” doesn’t automatically mean everyone wants exactly the same changes. Thanks for sticking with Doxy. Leigh
