I love the deep strong
I love the deep strong vibrations and the different levels of vibration strengths, but I would really prefer it if I got more variety of vibrations on top of the vibration strength settings it already has.

Where to start?? I (42M)
Where to start?? I (42M) bought the Doxy for my partner. It was recommended by a good mate of mine, as his wife had pretty much binned all of her battery toys since getting one. Delivery was very prompt, despite it being "sold out" and "stuck in transit in the Strait of Hormuz (fact!!)" it was delivered in 4 working days from the time of payment! The packaging was discreet, but the package was a bit of a mystery when it arrived "what the hell have I ordered that weighs 1.7KG??!!" a very high quality sex toy... that's what! Well, "toy" probably isn't the best term... I think the term "tool" better describes this fabulous piece of modern machinery... Yes this sex tool will aid and better-facilitate the users to getting the job gone faster, better and harder than any "toy" legally available to the common consumer. The handle is smooth, shiny, purple and cool... but is also hefty. The weight in the handle along with Newtons second law is the reason this device is SO good. Without the mass of the shaft, the vibrations of the head would be dissipated into the handle instead of into the receivers' target area. The combination of feel/texture of the metal and the friendly, shiny purple gives an erotic/exotic, serious/fun dynamic that might have even developed an anticipation kink within us every time it's out of the cupboard. We were very slow to really use it... it is intimidating at first: it's big, heavy, uses enough mains power to dim the lights in the house, but the Doxy is just as practical working on my sore back muscles as it is on her genitals... yes a sexy back massage with the Doxy can relax us both before further play. My partner initially wouldn't let me use it on her (probably wise knowing me) but instead used it through her clothes for a few sessions and was blown away with the power even on the low settings. She's now getting more used to it and has realised that the head can be quite away from her clit and she still rockets to the moon. In conclusion, get one. be bold, be brave... the quality is amazing, the power is astonishing. Why isn't she writing this review?? I'm waiting for her to regain her senses and ability to talk and function after a long session.

You’ve actually described a lot of what we set out to achieve with the Max. The weight is intentional, the deep vibration is very different from the buzzy sensation of many battery products and yes... calling it a “tool” rather than a “toy” feels absolutely appropriate. I particularly enjoyed the scientific application of Newton’s second law to explain why your partner is apparently being rocketed to the moon. Wife hates it
Wife does not like it her exact words was throw it away we use the wand together and have had over 20 plus i was very excited for this wand for her and waited a long time for it to be released with much anticipation. She did not like the power, heaviness or the cold metal and the length unfortunately. However, I did enjoy how it felt on my self and will just use it on me solo. How ever she prefers the cheaper older ones.

Hi James, Thanks for taking the time to explain your experience properly. It sounds like the Max has unfortunately landed on the wrong side of personal preference for your wife. It is intentionally a large, heavy and extremely powerful wand, and the die-cast metal construction is a fundamental part of the product rather than something we tried to disguise. That said, I completely understand that bigger and more powerful doesn’t automatically mean better for everyone. One thing that may be worth trying before completely writing it off is using it slightly further away from the target area, or through clothing or a folded towel. One of our recent reviewers, Thomas (another recent review), actually mentioned that they found the vibration strong enough to be effective without direct contact. Starting with that extra layer and gradually moving closer may make the intensity feel much more manageable. I’m pleased to hear that you personally enjoy using it, although I appreciate that isn’t quite what you originally bought it for! For anyone reading this who prefers something smaller, lighter and easier to manoeuvre, that is exactly where the Compact sits within the range.
