Hi K J, Thanks for the honest feedback. I’m sorry the Doxy Go hasn’t felt as strong as you expected. The Go is our smallest, most travel-friendly model and was designed to offer impressive power for its 144g size, rather than match the outright intensity of our full-sized Die Cast wands. If maximum power is the priority, the Die Cast Max Plug-in would be the stronger choice. Your comment about the advertising is fair, though—we need to make the differences between the models completely clear so customers can choose the right Doxy for them. A big upgrade from our old Doxy
My wife’s old Doxy has been her favorite toy for more than five years, so this one had a lot to live up to. She called the Die Cast Compact Cordless “incredibly smooth” and a huge upgrade. It has plenty of power, but it’s noticeably quieter than the old one and doesn’t rattle. The smaller size makes it easier to handle, and being cordless is a major improvement. The metal body feels solid and well made, and the Blue Flame finish looks great. USB-C charging is another big plus. We already travel with USB-C chargers, so there’s no special cable or extra charger to remember. Combined with the cordless design and travel lock, it’s much easier to pack and take with us. We did have one funny moment when it arrived. We charged it, and the lights came on, but the motor did nothing. Since we already knew our way around a Doxy, we assumed it was broken and emailed the company. Leigh replied and explained that it ships with the travel lock turned on. We held the minus and power buttons for three seconds, the lights flashed, and it came right to life. He was quick and friendly, and I told him he was a vibrator wizard. This feels like a real next-generation Doxy: powerful, smooth, quiet, easy to handle, and much more convenient. My wife absolutely loves it.

Hi Jackson, Thank you for such a detailed review. 1.0 Doxy set a high bar if it had 5 years as the fav haha,... so hearing that the Compact feels like a huge upgrade means a great deal. It was one of my real passion projects to completely start again with the what was once called the Die Cast 3R. Smooth power, quieter operation, easier handling, USB-C charging and proper portability were exactly the improvements we wanted to bring together. I’ll happily accept “vibrator wizard” as a new job title LOL The next batch of cordless models will now have a sticker as it had caught a few people out unfortunately.
